YouTube Channel so far

So I have been YouTubing since 2007.
I got monetized (monetized means making money from the videos) around the middle of 2012, but I didn't do it for the money I just accepted the opportunity.
I was sent an email in 2018 saying they were raising the bar and if I wanted to stay monetized I had to jump through new hoops. I didn't think I could make time for it so I ignored it. then a few weeks went by and I decided their email was a personal challenge.
I was also impressed with Peter Draws YouTube channel format. He makes art and monologues over it. super simple yet effective.
So I went all in. I started making videos almost daily.
I didn't reach the thresholds before they demonetized me but I kept working and a little over a year later got remonetized.
that was beginning of June 2019.
I have continued to make videos and trying to put out helpful content regarding Art and art projects. I am at around 2,630 subscribers and almost 400 videos. I average around 583 views a day
My most popular videos this month are "P.R.E.P.A.R.E.", "The Elements and Principles", "Negative Space Project", and Honing Your Shading Skills"

Thanks for reading my little blog and supporting me.

I am always looking for sketchbook ideas. share your ideas in the comments and I might make a video out of them later.

Customized Sketchbook Cover - Resin Filled - theartroject

I always make the cover of my sketchbook my own. I am not usually this involved in it. recently I have started experimenting with resin. When I started getting close to the end of my last sketchbook I started thinking about how I could manipulate the cover of my new sketchbook with resin. Here is the result. I saw a lot of resin art online and thought I'd give it a try. some of the stuff I saw were wood and resin or concrete and resin, resin tables, resin casting and resin jewelry. This is a lot simpler than all that.
